About the project
The MEDIATE project is organized in six interrelated subprojects:
- MEDIATE database construction (Hulsbosch)
- French private library auctions and early Enlightenment networks (Blom)
- Dutch printed private library catalogues and auction practices (Jagersma)
- English printed private library catalogues in a transnational context (Reboul)
- Italian (Jewish) private library catalogues and cultural mediators (Chayes)
- Jewish books and Jewish-owned private libraries in the Dutch Republic (De Wilde)
- Synthesis: Toward a new history of "the" Enlightenment (Montoya)
